The Vilm 117 features a modified stern, larger aft cabin, deeper draft, and optionally, a second pedestal steering position on the aft deck. The pedestal steering provides excellent visibility during maneuvering and docking, offers the aft cockpit sailing experience many of us are accustomed to, all without compromising the excellent safety and protection of the protected steering station in the doghouse.
